1. Scope of Services
LetItEdit provides professional document and media editing services on a freelance basis. The specific scope, deliverables, and turnaround time for each project are strictly defined by the instructions provided at the time of order. LetItEdit reserves the right to refuse, modify, or cancel any project if the requested work falls outside our operational capabilities or violates our policies.
2. Payment Terms
All services require full upfront payment to secure your slot and initiate the editing process. Payment verification is conducted manually via the designated payment gateway. Work on your files will not commence, and files cannot be uploaded, until payment is fully cleared and verified. If payment is not completed within the designated timeframe, the order will be automatically cancelled.
3. Intellectual Property & User Files
You retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights to the original files and content you upload. By submitting your files, you grant LetItEdit a limited, non-exclusive license to access, download, and edit the materials solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order. We do not claim any ownership over your original or final edited files.
4. Post-Delivery Responsibility & Limitation of Liability
LetItEdit provides freelance editing services on an "as-is" basis. Once the edited file (document, video, screenshot, etc.) is delivered to you and the order is marked as complete, LetItEdit is no longer responsible for the file. We do not accept liability for how the final edited file is used, distributed, or any consequences arising from its final state. The user assumes full legal responsibility for the final file.
5. Revisions and Refunds
Revisions for the same job are free if requested within 48 hours of delivery. If LetItEdit fails to deliver your job, or misses the agreed deadline, you are entitled to a full refund. Refunds are not provided for completed work that meets the agreed-upon scope.
6. Prohibited Content
You agree not to upload or request edits for any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing on intellectual property rights, or otherwise harmful. LetItEdit reserves the right to immediately terminate the service and cancel the order—without a refund—if any uploaded content is found to violate these terms or applicable laws.
